Twitter bots: The basic idea is that there are twitter bots which have twitter accounts. When they receive direct messages, they lookup who they are from and perform the action in the message for the twitter user who sent the message. They might even reply back with some options, responses or confirmations.

i love the sudoidea. a command line interface for all services. I was thinking about something like that the other day, a unified interface to control stuff, appliances, services etc. But controlling all this through a command line that you shout out from one place with lose natural language is pretty cool.
why twitter though? isn’t every tweet public to the world?
